Purpose

The role is being the first and focal point of contact for Inventory Management in providing business continuity application support.

He is responsible to ensure that all Inventory Management processes including the scrap management process runs smoothly on system in daily operations and provide support in its enhancements or changes if any.

Further, to lead the annual projects for Inventory management for its timely delivery and within the scope, with regular updates to DGM EBS SC

The incumbent is to be the subject matter expert of SAP WM, SAP Opentext and SAP SD implementation KE wide for all departments.

The role has also to liaison with BF,Audit and Disposal teams for timely scrap management in and out of system, or for any process re-engineering.

Adding, the role is also focal point of vendor invoices and SAP MM integration (PO) in opentext/VIM solution. Ensuring timely updates of invoices in SAP system

Bachelors degree (5+ years experience in SAP WM,SD,Open text)

 Worked as SD/MM functional analyst with the Business solutions group; providing solutions to achieve business objectives. Providing expertise to various other IT initiatives.

 Developed functional design for order to cash (OTC) cycle

 Designed and Configured the complete warehouse structure and setup master data for all Warehouses and Distribution Centers with the following WM elements: Master Data [Storage Type / Section / Bin, Control Cycle, Work center, Supply Area], Strategies [Storage Type / Section search, Putaway / Picking Strategies], Interfaces [IM, Shipping, PP].

 Complete configuration of control for warehouses.

 Activated WM-IM, WM-PP, WM-Shipping interfaces.

 Designed the custom WM -PP Material staging process for generating the WM Production Pick List based upon the on hand production bin quantity.

 Configured movement types in IM and WM and created new custom IM movement types and interfaced them with appropriate WM movement types.

1 Business continuity via timely h2h resolution and Projects Delivery

All application related issues or change request to be catered on time and with completeness, for continuous business operation.

Ensure the h2h are attended timely and resolved within time to ensure TAT is not burst.

Target zero h2h, to adhere with minimum issues reported by business in IT applications and maximum continuity of business using IT technology.

2 Project Delivery

Deliver annual projects to Inventory Management department on time. Over here work with Inventory management POCs, and the relevant GMs of the

IM stores 13 + stores

IM Planning section

Make certain that implementation and deployment of IT annual Inventory Management roadmap to be done as per agreed scope and timelines.

Be part of overall project lifecycle, in terms of requirement gathering, developing its blueprint, managing the project , proper communication with both IT and IM stakeholders, till the time of UAT and its delivery.

Coordinate on the healthy documentation of the project, that is complied with IT PMO, and onboard technical team for support in development and basis/services team for transports, and finally user in terms of testing and go live communication.

Understanding key business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents and signing off with users to have business blueprint document

Building an organization structure of material management and setting up related configuration such as valuation area plants, purchase organization, warehouse structure, storage location, etc

To prepare the user manual and impart training to various business process owners

Preparing for project Go-live and post Go-Live support

Execute necessary changes in configuration in SPRO

To raise Change Requests (CRs) and providing functional specifications for the same
