Purpose
The role is being the first and focal point of contact for Inventory Management in providing business continuity application support.
He is responsible to ensure that all Inventory Management processes including the scrap management process runs smoothly on system in daily operations and provide support in its enhancements or changes if any.
Further, to lead the annual projects for Inventory management for its timely delivery and within the scope, with regular updates to DGM EBS SC
The incumbent is to be the subject matter expert of SAP WM, SAP Opentext and SAP SD implementation KE wide for all departments.
The role has also to liaison with BF,Audit and Disposal teams for timely scrap management in and out of system, or for any process re-engineering.
Adding, the role is also focal point of vendor invoices and SAP MM integration (PO) in opentext/VIM solution. Ensuring timely updates of invoices in SAP system

Make certain that implementation and deployment of IT annual Inventory Management roadmap to be done as per agreed scope and timelines.
Be part of overall project lifecycle, in terms of requirement gathering, developing its blueprint, managing the project , proper communication with both IT and IM stakeholders, till the time of UAT and its delivery.
Coordinate on the healthy documentation of the project, that is complied with IT PMO, and onboard technical team for support in development and basis/services team for transports, and finally user in terms of testing and go live communication.

Understanding key business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents and signing off with users to have business blueprint document
Building an organization structure of material management and setting up related configuration such as valuation area plants, purchase organization, warehouse structure, storage location, etc

Execute necessary changes in configuration in SPRO
To raise Change Requests (CRs) and providing functional specifications for the same
