JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables

· Prepare the project wireframes to understand the project domain and speed up the development process

· Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plan

· Design and create test conditions, use cases, and test cases to address business and technical use cases

· Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results

· Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

· Identify bugs, log defects, and any nonconformity found during the testing phase; work with the development team to resolve and verify fixes when implemented

· Perform other duties related to the overall effectiveness including adherence to Web development & engineering life cycle methodology, tools, and internal tracking systems

Web Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

• Validate, test and review that design and functionality are according to established guidelines.

• Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.

• Create, update and manage test cases, manuals and workflow documentations.

• Identify, record, document and track bugs and communicate with developers.

• Effectively communicate with the clients for taking their requirements and updating them on the progress of their projects.

• Successfully deliver the projects completely error-free and without any discrepancies.

• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience (1-2 years) as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Web QA methodologies, tools and processes.

• A keen eye for design, aesthetics and attention to details.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

• Project and time management.

• Must be capable enough to work independently without supervision.
